After a fire breaks out, the staff must evacuate the hospital, while making sure patients and their owners are safe.

The staff at GCVS treat an Asian elephant that has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Meanwhile, a giant Schnauzer comes in with a chronic hip fracture, and Dr. Hottingers fears that her whippet named reed may have cancer.

Mikka, an 18-foot reticulated python, needs her lungs checked for pneumonia. She finally slithers still for a set of radiographs, but it takes every effort by Gulf Coasts Avian & Exotics team.

This week at Gulf Coast the top veterinarians in Texas treat a Lab with a heart condition, a Peacock with a ruptured tendon.

4 - Code Red

GCVS comes to the aid of the Houston Humane Society after they receive over 200 neglected animals that were confiscated during a pet store raid.

5 - Blindsided

GCVS treats a blind Lab, an Asian leopard and a chihuahua unable to walk.

5 - Chaos in the OR

At the Houston Zoo, a 17-year-old chimpanzee named Chaos gets two root canals from Dr. Chanda Miles. Theres a limited amount of time that Chaos can be under anesthesia, so Dr. Miles enlists the help of a colleague and barely makes it in under the wire.

6 - Down the Rabbit Hole

At Gulf Coast, vets treat a Catahoula with a broken leg, an Angora rabbit with an eye problem and an African serval cat suffering from pancreatitis.

6 - Toy Trauma

GCVS treats Aries, a rescued big horn ram arrives with a front leg that was badly injured in a dog attack. Then, a six-year-old police dog named Ronny gets a crown to repair his fractured tooth.
